Otti’s COS calls on Abians to resist opposition bent on returning Abia to dark ages

As election of 2027 approaches,the Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba has called on Abians and residents alike to resist the antics of the opposition elements who are bent on dragging the state back to the era of the dark ages of under development .
Gov Alex Otti’s chief of staff made this call Saturday
at the Umuezegu community primary school, while addressing an enlarged
meeting of his Ward 3 kinsmen in Isiala Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North LGA in company of some top government officials.
Pastor Ajagba who condemned the recent attack on performing governor of Abia state while questioning those who now claim to have the capacity to govern Abia state better in the emerging political dispensation than Gov Alex Otti noting that members of opposition parties were hell bent on reversing the gains already made by the current Governor Alex Otti led administration.

He maintained that for 24 years on the saddle,the opposition parties couldn’t do anything,they didn’t have anything to offer,why is it that now that Gov Otti is redefining governance in the state that they woke up from the sleeping slumber?
To this end,he described them as expired politicians who want to Abia back to Egypt.
“They want to take us back to Egypt, No, no, no, it can’t work”, Pastor Ajagba stated..
Pastor Caleb Ajagba said that the previous administrations failed to fix Abia state for 24 years, but the Otti-led government has within a short period in office achieved remarkable progress that has remained unparalleled.
He said that the present administration inherited a level of decay that could have discouraged a less-prepared leader, noting that Governor Otti was prepared and deliberately assembled a competent team to reverse decades of misrule in the State.
Pastor Ajagba, who noted that Governor Alex Otti is on a divine rescue mission, and cannot be derailed by political jobbers , expressed confidence that divine intervention would frustrate any conspiracy and gang-up against the present administration.
“The level of deterioration we met on ground when we came was unprecedented. It was enough to discourage someone who was not prepared for this job”.
“The things they destroyed in 24 years, it took this man (Governor Otti) 24 months to fix.
“Governor Alex Otti is on a divine rescue mission and nothing can stop it (the mission)”, Ajagba stated.
The Chief of Staff thanked members of Ward 3 in Isiala Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, for their continued support for the present administration and assured that the Governor is committed to delivering more democracy dividends to the people of the State.
In his speech, the member representing Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, lauded Governor Otti, for his giant strides and infrastructural development across Isiala Ngwa and other parts of the state.
He appreciated the Governor for the construction and rehabilitation of critical road infrastructure in the area, including the Ntigha–Nbawsi–Eziala Road, Nbawsi–Agburuike–Umuomaiukwu Road, Avo–Umuerim Road, and Okpuala Ngwa–Obikabia Road, among others.
Hon. Onwusibe further thanked the Otti administration’s interventions in key sectors such as Health, Education, Security and Transportation, noting that the recent migration of communities in Isiala Ngwa to the Geometrics Power has brought uninterrupted electricity supply to the area, a development that has significantly improved the quality of life of the people.
Contributing, the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Otumchere Oti, the Commissioner for Power and Public Utilities, Engr. Ikechukwu Monday and Commissioner for Transport, Dr Chimezie Ukaegbu said that the Governor Otti-led administration, since assuming office, has embarked on massive road construction and rehabilitation across Abia State
They said that Isiala Ngwa communities have benefitted immensely from the Light Up Abia Project, including the provision of transformers and would benefit the more, assuring that before the expiration of Governor Otti’s tenure, road construction would reach all nooks and crannies of the state.
In their separate remarks, the State Chairman of the Labour Party, Chief Nwaeze Oti; Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment Promotion and Public-Private Partnership, Dr J.N
Greene -Amakwe; SA on Cooperatives, Hon. Ishmael Onuoha; SA to the Governor on Lands and Housing, Pastor Okorougo Aji; all commended Governor Otti for delivering massive infrastructural development across all sectors of the state.
They appreciated the people of Isiala Ngwa for their solidarity and unwavering support for the Governor, urging them to sustain the momentum and ensure they obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general election.
In a vote of thanks, the Ward 3 Chairman of the Labour Party, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Mr John Nduaguibe, thanked Pastor Caleb Ajagba for convening the meeting and assured him of their unalloyed support to the Governor Alex Otti led administration in the state.
The meeting attracted political leaders, Community Stakeholders Labour Party supporters from Ward 3, Isiala Nsulu, who took time to appreciate Governor Alex Otti and his government, including their worthy son, Pastor Caleb Ajagba for delivering their people-centred and purposeful administration.
