The Legislative Council Leader of the 7th Legislative Council of Umuahia South local government Area ,Rt. Hon( Engr) Ebenezer Ngozi Emmanuel has extolled the administration of the Executive Governor of Abía State,Dr Alex Otti saying he has performed exceedingly well in less than three years he assumed office.
The leader of the legislative council who is from Ehume Umuopara representing Omaegwu Ward added that if there was any word that surpasses Excellent ,that word would have been used to qualify the performances of Governor Otti in the state .
The youthful leader of Umuahia South legislative council disclosed this Thursday evening in an interview with journalists at the Council Headquarters, Apumiri Ubakala noting that the governor is doing very well and majority of the people in the state are testifying of his good works in the State
Emmanuel further said that he personally calls the Governor “Mr Infrastructure” following the Governor’s giant feat in infrastructural development including other critical areas of the economy such as :Education , Health,Roads,Commerce, Industry,Environment, Transport etc.
To this end,he maintained that the Governor is working assiduously in all sectors of the state economy,hence the reason why avalanche of praises are coming his way not minding the rantings of an insignificant opposition elements in the state.
He pointed out that Gov Otti has proved to all and sundry that he actually came prepared for the art of governance and his administration is touching lives positively through his people -centric government including
prompt payment of salaries,pensions .
Reacting to statement credited to opposition parties in the state few days ago who were criticizing the performing governor of Abia state,Rt Hon Engr Ebenezer Ngozi Emmanuel however dismissed their watery allegations with a wave of the hand,saying that they are selfish people who do not have the interest of the people at heart unlike the state governor Dr. Alex Otti who is working for the interest of all in the state .
Umuahia South legislative council leader expressed optimism that Abians will vote massively to Gov Otti come 2027 because of verifiable changes taking place in the state, adding that surely,they will gather because it was not from God,that they will succeed in stopping the re-election bid of “Ekwueme Ndi- Abia”.
“They are wasting their time,, nobody is afraid of the opposition ,we will deliver bloc votes in Umuahia South as usual to His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti OFR, Executive Governor of Abia state in the forthcoming political dispensation.” Emmanuel said.
Also appraising the performance profile of the Mayor of Umuahia South LGA,Hon Engr Chinedu Philip Enwereuzo,Rt. Hon. Engr Emmanuel was full of praises for the Council Chairman whom he said is following the footstep of the state governor Dr. Alex Otti .
He added that the Mayor of Umuahia South LGA of Abia state is also doing well in delivery of services that touches the lives of the grassroots people through his well articulated blueprint.
According to the Council Legislative Leader , the Chairman of the Council is indeed making waves in the Agricultural sector, saying the Council has engaged in the cultivation of several crops and lifestock farming such as : Habanero pepper,Ginger, Garlic,Cassava,Groundnut and Cocoa including Poultery
.
Hon Engr Chinedu Enwereuzo,is delivery dividends of democracy to the good people of the council area that there is no doubt that before the end of his tenure people would not recognize Umuahia South LGA due to the developmental strides of the capacity mayor.
In an interview with
the Chairman, National Union of local Government Employees NULGE, Comrade Okoronkwo Anozie agreed that the Council Chairman Engr Chinedum Enwereuzo’s administration in the Council is very progressive and at peace with the workers of the Council due to the harmonious relation between the workforce and the Council’s management .
He also expressed gratitude to Senator to Darlington Nwokocha for donating bags of rice to workers of the Council and Entire Umuahia South people.
