U S based Apostle Jumah Ibeagbazi bags Abia Chieftaincy title

In recognition of his invaluable contributions towards upliftment of their community,Ndagbo Mbom Afarata autonomous community Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State has conferred a chieftaincy title to one of the illustrious sons,a United States based Apostle Jumah Chibuike Agbalazi with Aku ruo ( wealth gets home) title.

This befitting chieftaincy title was bestowed on Ndagbo Mbom Afarata clergy man, Apostle Jumah Chibuike Agbalazi by the traditional ruler of the autonomous community HRM Eze Osquare Onwukwe with the colorful ceremony held at the Methodist Primary school playground,Mbom Afarata ,Ibeku.

Speaking during the conferment ceremony,the traditional ruler of the autonomous community, Ndagbo Mbom Afarata Ibeku Eze Osquare Onwukwe described Apostle Chief Jumah Chibuike Agbalazi in glowing terms noting that he is an illustrious son to whom the community is well pleased.

The traditional ruler noted that the clergy man along side other illustrious sons of the community have been contributing their quotas towards the development and growth of the autonomous community,hence what neccesited the chieftaincy title conferment as a way of encouraging others to think of investing in human capital development at the home front as well as assisting socio- economic growth of Mbom Afarata Ibeku community.

It could be recalled that Apostle Jumah Chibuike Agbalazi before the recognition as the Aku ruo Ulo chieftaincy title had been contributing immensely towards the upliftment and growth of autonomous community with the latest , donation of multi million worth digital library in order to further bring development to Ndagbo Mbom Afarata autonomous community,Ibeku.

Speaking with journalists in Abia State shortly after the conferment of Aku ruo Ulo ( Bringing his wealth at home front) chieftaincy title by Eze Osquare Onwukwe and his cabinet, Apostle Chief Jumah Chibuike Agbalazi expressed delight on the honour done him by his autonomous community.

He noted that it was just to underscored the importance of this honour from his people that he flew all the way from United States of America back home to Mbom Afarata Ibeku in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State having just returned home recently from his base in USA .

On what prompted his philanthropic gestures to his people,he disclosed that it was in their culture to give out part of what God Has blessed them with , adding that they borrowed the spirit of giving from the family, therefore,it is part of their family culture in rendering selfless services to the people.

Agbalazi pointed out that he and his very dear wife runs an Non Governmental organization ( NGO) with which they assist their Mbom Afarata Ibeku autonomous community with digital library centre as one of projects attracted to their people.

Apostle Chief Jumah Chibuike Agbalazi however revealed that he has no doubt that the million worth digital library he donated to his autonomous community will be of great use especially to the youths of the autonomous community, adding that the electronic library has the state of art facilities including uninterrupted power supply as solar power panels have been installed accordingly to provide light when the public supply goes off.

The newly decorated Chief of Mbom Afarata Ibeku autonomous community, Apostle Jumah Chibuike Agbalazi therefore called on other spirited diaspora members of Igbo land to think of bringing their wealth in order to benefit their people at the home while promising that this rare recognition will spur him to greater service delivery to his people .
