Former Abia House Minority leader,, Hon Ndukwe Adindu dumps PDP, defects to APC,

says ,”I started my political journey at Dee Bob

Uwaga’s house”

It is no longer news that the former Minority leader in the Abia House of Assembly,Hon Dr Max Ndukwe Adindu has officially dumped the Peoples Democratic party, PDP to join his former party,All Progressive Congress,APC .

Prior to his official defection to APC ,Monday at Ezeleke/ Ogbodiukwu Ward Secretariat, Monday at Umuabali Ezeleke,rumour has been making the rounds that the former two time Commissioner for Education and Finance under Governor T A Orji’s administration was about dumping PDP back to APC his former party.

This rumour was however dispelled himself at APC Ward Secretariat where the political iroko said without mincing words that it was no longer a rumour of his planned defection,that he has indeed left PDP to rejoin his former party in order to add value to APC in order to capture the seat of power in Abia Government House, Umuahia come 2027.

Speaking during his defection ceremony,Hon Dr Max Ndukwe Adindu expressed his happiness of returning back home in a party he was one of the foundation members in Abia State during the formative years..

“I am not coming to the Ward office to register as a new member,no,but I have come to revalidate my membership having joined the party from onset when the idea to form APC was mooted some years ago in Abia State”

He disclosed that he is in APC to win election and that he has always be associated with the political parties that win election, adding that party, stakeholders cannot win election without collective efforts of every member of the party.

nt personalities like Dr U.N O Uwaga popularly called “Dee Bob Uwaga” by the home folks and Sir Chima Onyekwere holding forte the leadership of the party at Ezeleke/ Ogbodiukwu Ward.

The former Executive Chairman of Umuahia South LGA,Hon Ndukwe Adindu paid glowering tributes to his elder brother,Dee Bob Uwaga admitted that when he wanted to contest Abia State House of Assembly election in 1999,,he started his political journey in the use of Dee Bob Uwaga at Dim na Opara, Ogbodiukwu adding that it was a thing of joy coming back to meet him as one of the leaders strengthen the party in the State

” Dede m,in his house,I started my political journey in what today becomes a success story of my political career,that is an indisputable fact,am busy coming back again to rejoin him in APC to strengthen the party not only in Ezeleke/ Ogbodiukwu Ward but at the LGA and the State level ”

To this end,he promised to bring his wealth of experience to bear while joining forces with other leaders in the state to make an indelible mark moving forward ahead of 2027 election.

Earlier in his speech,a stakeholder of the party in the State,Dr U.N O Uwaga who is from Ezeleke/ Ogbodiukwu Ward welcomed Hon Dr Max Ndukwe Adindu back to the party, stating that they are happy that his rumoured defection is true.

Dr U.N.O Uwaga noted that it was in his house that Hon Dr Max Ndukwe Adindu started his political sojourn many years and as he gave him his blessings having seen the stuff he was made of, expressed optimism that an experienced PDP chieftain has come back to his former party.

APC chieftain popularly called ” Dee Bob Uwaga within the Umuopara circle tasked his brother Hon Ndukwe Adindu as an experienced politician who had held various political positions in the past that he should bring his experience to APC.

He added that the State Party Chairman,Dr Kingsley Ononogbu has given his blessings for the former PDP chieftain to rejoin the party noting that he and Sir Chima Onyekwere have been working hard to sustain the party the Ward level hoping his coming in now will add more values to the party.

On his part,the Ward Chairman of Ezeleke/ Ogbodiukwu Ward,Mr Godwin Okeahialam Chigbu said the ward was extremely happy to see such a big fish joining the party .

The Ward Chairman added that coming of Hon Dr Max Ndukwe Adindu who fortified the party the more in their domain thereby reducing the work load of Dee Bob Uwaga,Sir Chima Onyekwere,Hon Nnadozie Urakpa and other leaders of the party at Ezeleke/Ogbodiukwu Ward.

To this end,he effected the registration process of re- admission of Hon Ndukwe Adindu according to their party guidelines in the presence of State officers such as Dee Bob Uwaga, Stakeholders,State,Hon Nnadozie Urakpa, the State Organizing Secretary and LGA Chairman,Hon Long John Onyemachi ably represented by LGA Secretary,Hon Amajuoyi Nwabueze.

Meanwhile, the State Organizing Secretary,Hon Nnadozie Urakpa was excited for re- validation of
Hon Dr Max Ndukwe Adindu back to the party along side his teeming followers amidst chants of solidarity.

Among those who registered in solidarity with Hon Dr Max Ndukwe Adindu included: Mr Chukwunenye Adindu,the Deputy Prime Minister of Dim na Opara Ogbodiukwu,Chief Barthlome Ogbonna,a.k.a Chief Ette, Dee Emeka Onwuegbu,a grassroot politician and Ichie Chidiebere Onwuegbu ,Chief Chimechefulam Iwundu,Mrs Adanma Orji and Mrs Chinyere Okebugwu etc.

In addition,Mr Chimaraoke Ibe,Personal Assistant,PA to Hon Dr Samuel Chibuike Nwachukwu,the former Abia House of Assembly candidate for APP now in APC also registered yesterday with the party.
