FAULTY FABRICATION MACHINE: OBINNA ORIAKU’S FAIRYTALE OF THE TORTOISE AND THE HARE.

In his fairytale about the competitive race between the tortoise and the hare, Obinna Oriaku admitted just becoming fully convinced that Abia State Government was deliberate and intentional about lies and deception on the 5th of January, 2025, meaning that he has been accusing, lying and engaging in his misinformation campaign against the Government in arrears, without conviction, before his realisation just 3 days ago. No one should be surprised because Obinna Oriaku is synonymous with arrears.
Obinna Oriaku in his concocted fairytale claimed to have ran into a nameless lecturer from University of Yale. The only truth erroneously mentioned by Obinna in his long fairytale about the current Abia State Government performance was ‘unprecedented development’ phrase.
To prove and reaffirm his mastery of fabrications with straight face, Obinna in his fairytale, ridden with white lies claimed to have kept quiet till 3 days ago without criticising the Government to avoid being seen as disgruntled character even when more than 99% of his readers can attest to his cynically routine and daily attack and misinformation against everything the Government has done in the last 20 months. What again is needed to award Obinna without contest, the title of the undisputable serial liar of all time.
In Obinna’s dreams and imaginations, a ghost Yale University lecturer (An arrangement not alien to Obinna) from the prestigious Yale University was told by a nameless Government Official that Abia Medical Village Project had been commissioned including the Airport Project that was just flagged-off late last year and he hurriedly came down to explore potential partnership after sending in Billboard Medical equipment for a potential partnership he is still exploring.
Yale University is an Ivy University and hires tested hands with the requisite knowledge based skills set to investigate and conduct due diligence before venturing into any endeavour or investment. The ground-breaking of Abia Airport was done in December, 2024 and it was all over the news but an imaginary or ‘Toronto’ Yale University Lecturer was so non-existent, naive or retarded to believe that the Airport was completed in less than 2 Months after the ground-breaking and the Medical Village project was completed before the ground-breaking. The widely Government published facts and realities of the 2 projects are just a Google away.
Just like no one believed the fairytale about the haye sleeping on the race track and the slow and steady tortoise running ahead of it to win the race, no reasonable person believed Obinna’s cock and bull story about showing a Yale University ghost lecturer an old email and the made-up discussion that never happened that followed it.
Obinna Oriaku has become the Exaggerator-General of the Shadow Abia PDP, disguising as an APC member. Obinna as usual is lying and misinforming the people about an imaginary 1,000 Hectares of land for his Yale University ghost lecturer investment and already installed medical equipment on billboard as usual. The land for the proposed Abia Medical Village in Owerrinta is 200 Hectares. Even if he mischievously adds the 400 Hectares being acquired by the Government of Abia State for the proposed Textile Cluster in Owerrinta, it is still far below the 1,000 Hectares being quoted by Obinna. Anyway, it should not surprise anyone as Obinna Oriaku is known to have built a career around misinformation and mischief-making since his time as the most infamous and failed Commissioner for Finance who had many reasons for not paying salaries and pensions.
As a bare face liar, Obinna Oriaku reduced the size of Heathrow Airport from 1,227 Hectares to less than 350 Hectares to fit into the 1,325 Hectares Abia Airport Project Land Size in Nsulu. As small as The Netherlands is in Land Space, Schiphol Airport has a total Land space of 2,787 Hectares.
Finally, in the new Abia, funds are put into visible Projects and not on the billboard space that Obinna knows best. Obinna Oriaku is angry because the Government of Dr. Alex Otti is exposing and dealing with the ruins, rot and despair he left in Abia. 221 Schools are undergoing reconstruction, 200 PHCs are being upgraded, a brand new Omenuko bridge is underway, Ozuabam-Ndi-Oji, Ndi Okereke-Arochukwu Road will be completed and delivered on time, Umuahia, Akara, Abiriba, Ohafia and Arochukwu corridors are in progress, Okporoenyi – Oboro Road is in progress, Umuokpara Ring Road is progressing, Bank Road Expansion will be delivered soon, Ndoki Road is on course, Onuimo and Owerrinta Roads dualization are progressing, Ekeakpara-Osisioma Road, Port-Harcourt Road, Market Road, Cameroun Road, Tenant Road, Clifford Road, Omuma Road, Ohanku Road, Obiohia Road, School Road and many other Roads including RAAMP funded Roads, Ovom Erosion control project are all in progress. Abak Street, Cementry Road, Toonak Drive, Green Avenue, Shalom Road, Umule Road, Jubilee Road, University Road, Obiora Road, Abiriba Ring Road, College Road, MCC Road, Udeagbala Road, Umuimo Road, Umuocham Road, Dozie Way, Umuoba Road, Ossai Road and many more have already been completed and commissioned. The streets are very neat without dirt and abandoned refuse dumps, potholes has disappeared on the major streets of Aba and Umuahia, public buildings that were hitherto abandoned under Obinna as Commissioner for Finance have been recovered, rehabilitated and put to proper use.
There is hope at last for Enyimba Hotels Development which was abandoned more than 40 years ago. Obinna Oriaku can continue casting aspersions on the Memorandum of Agreement signed with Radisson Blu Hotels because he was there for 4 years and could not assist his team to achieve such breakthrough. One wonders why Obinna is looking for N54 Billion earmarked and being deployed in the Recovery, Reconstruction and Retrofitting of Public Schools which by the way was destroyed, coveted, sold and converted into private estates under his watch. He is currently busy writing about the slight gains of the Naira to the Dollar in the last 4 days. To retain his Exaggerator-General title, he is already selling USD at N1,400 when the market rate is still close to N1,500. At least, he has for once admitted that Dollar rate affects the value of the Naira, albeit when he thinks it serves his misinformation narrative.
If Obinna had spent one tenth of the time and energy he is dissipating in looking for faults, disparaging and mudslinging a serious Government, to work for the good of Abia and Abians, Governor Otti wouldn’t have taken-over a State in such sorry State considered Nationally as the dirtiest and stinking capital of Nigeria under Obinna Oriaku as Commissioner for Finance.
Ndi Anwuru! It’s about time you hide your faces in shame and quietly allow Governor Otti to continue cleaning up the heaps of mess you bequeathed the State.
