Abia Arise : We ‘re determined to take Gov Otti’s good governance message to grassroots….Anokwuru.

Abia Arise,Umuahia South coordinator,Hon Dennis Anokwuru has said that the chapter is determined to take Gov Alex Otti’s good governance message to the grassroots in order to galvanize massive support ahead of 2027 election.

Hon Dennis Anokwuru,a chieftain of Labour party disclosed this at Umuahia South Council headquarters during the inauguration ceremony of Umuahia South chapter of Abia Arise political structure.

Abia Arise Umuahia South coordinator further said that they are determined to take the message of Gov Alex Otti’s good governance to the grassroots,to sensitize,organize and mobilize massive support to ensure overwhelming victory for Gov Otti come 2027.

He however vowed that Abia Arise, Umuahia South chapter will vote massively for Gov Alex Otti’s re-election bid come 2027 more than they did in 2023 governorship election in Abia State.

” Gov Alex Otti has performed exceedingly well in two years in office, therefore , voting him for 2023 has been justified through strides of achievements recorded in all sectors of the state economy.” Anokwuru said.

Abia Arise, Umuahia South chapter LGA Coordinator,Hon Dennis Anokwuru said the Council area has vowed to triple the number of votes they gave Governor Alex Otti in 2023 in the forthcoming 2027 governorship election in the state .

He said that they are determined to take the message of good governance to the grassroots, adding that they will organize,sensitize and mobilize like never before ensuring Gov Otti’s overwhelming victory come 2027.

According to Anokwuru” Come 2027 by the grace of God and with the full backing of our people,we will triple number of votes we gave Governor Otti in 2023;we will not rest until Umuahia South becomes a bastion of loyalty, organization and performance in support of this administration.

The youthful council coordinator however pointed out that Abia Arise is the product of “‘Abia First “, and in Umuahia South,that they have consistently supported Dr Alex Chioma Otti OFR since he declared his ambition in 2014.

The youthful coordinator who added that it was on record that Umuahia South is one local government area where Otti has not lost an election in his three consecutive outings.

” We are unrepentant followers,die- hard supporters,and committed members of Abia Arise in Umuahia South,hereby mandate His Excellency to contest again in 2027 to continue the great work he is doing across every corner of Abia State”

Hon Dennis Anokwuru who described Gov Otti on glowing terms ,appreciating him for reappointing him as the coordinator of Umuahia South promising to unite the people of Umuahia South under one political family ensuring that every family,every compound,every village and every community becomes part of Abia Arise movement.

In his charge shortly after inauguration ceremony,,the State Coordinator of Abia Arise ,Mazi Nkem Okoro tasked newly inaugurated members of from Umuahia South to strive to be fishers of men and women in order to win more converts so as to make a re- election of Gov Alex Otti a fait accomplice come 2027.

The State Coordinator further charged the coordinator of Umuahia South to carry every member along and avoid things that will be bring disunity warning that Gov Otti has directed that all those who worked for salvation of Abia should not be relegated to the background.

Meanwhile,in his welcome speech,the Mayor of Umuahia South LGA,Engr Chinedu Enwereuzo said that the good work Gov Otti is doing in the state will make his re-election bid come 2027 a mere formality.

He however expressed optimism that Umuahia South is blessed with array of heavy weight politicians such as : Hon Kingsley Anosike, Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Hon Iheanacho Obioma, Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Navy Commander Macdonald Ubah retired, Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, Rev Father Christian Anokwuru, Special Adviser to the Governor on Policies and Intervention, Hon Emeka Obioma, Chief Whip and member representing Umuahia South in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon Barr Jerry Uzosike, Commissioner, Local Government Service Commission etc that would work to deliver the governor at the LGA when the chips are down while promising unflinching support to Abia Arise political structure.

To this end, the Mayor Umuahia South,Engr Chinedu Enwereuzo therefore welcomed the state Executive members of Abia Arise to the Council stressing that many of the stakeholders were excited with the appointment of Mazi Nkem Okoro as the State Coordinator.

The highpoint of the occasion was the formal inauguration of Umuahia South Executive members of Abia Arise by the state coordinator,Mazi Nkem Okoro.
